Air Admittance Valve

Designed to eliminate the need for secondary vents through the roof and building structure. The new Sure-Vent contains the most advanced sealing technology (Sweet Spot Sealing Technology) available. Sure-Vent is the only AAV that opens at low pressures and seals tightly. The large area of the Sweet Spot seal allows the Sure-Vent to open at extremely low pressures. In addition to the improved sealing, the new Sure-Vent is much smaller, which aides in installation. Sure-Vent is made from durable PVC plastic, solvent welds to 1-1/2" or 2" PVC, and will thread into a 2" Female fitting. Can be used with individual or multiple fixtures (based on DFU load and branch pipe diameter). Negative DWV system pressure from fixture discharge opens the Sure-Vent, allowing air into the system, yet remains closed at static/positive pressures; protects traps from drying out.
